Point your MX records

The final DNS switch. Once it propagates, your mail flows to NevTan Mail.

Will I lose old emails?
No — import them first over IMAP (500 MB cap) before switching your MX records.
Will email break during the switch?
Briefly, during DNS propagation — usually minutes, occasionally a few hours.
Will I lose my Gmail address?
No — you can keep it and set up forwarding from it during the transition.

Frequently asked questions
Do I lose my Gmail account when I switch?
No. You keep it. Most people keep Gmail for personal mail and use NevTan Mail on their own domain for business.
Can I import my Gmail contacts too?
Import focuses on mail today. Contacts can be exported from Gmail as a CSV and re-imported into your new account's Contacts.
How long does the whole migration take?
Most people are live on their own domain within an hour. Mail import runs in the background and continues after you're already sending from your new address.
What if I'm not technical?
You don't need to be. The guided domain setup tells you exactly which DNS records to add at your registrar and verifies each one for you.
