Getting an app password
Google Account → Security → 2-Step Verification (must be ON) → App passwords → generate one for 'Mail'
Step-by-step migration
- Enable 2-Step Verification in Google Security (if not already on)
- Create an App Password for Mail
- Sign up at NevTan Mail (10 mailboxes free, no card)

- Open Settings → Import mail → choose Gmail
- Enter your Gmail address + the App Password
- Pick folders to import and start
- Set up forwarding from Gmail to your new address during the transition
