Getting an app password
GoDaddy Webmail settings → enable IMAP → use your mailbox password or app password if available
Step-by-step migration
- Check if your GoDaddy email is M365-backed (if so, follow M365 steps)
- Enable IMAP in GoDaddy email settings
- Sign up at NevTan Mail and verify your domain
- Import mail over IMAP
- Point MX records at NevTan Mail
- Cancel GoDaddy email (keep the domain registration if you want)
